Since the Maa-nulth Treaty was implemented on April 1st, 2011, some important terminology has changed relating to the Toquaht Nation. At our December 2015 People’s Assembly, Lisa Morgan, our Director of Community Services, presented the following table.
We highly encourage all Toquaht citizens to take a look at the table below (click to enlarge or print off) and begin using terminology that reflects our status as a proud, self-governing Nation!
