Breaking ground on our community sewage system

On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, we broke ground on Macoah’s community wastewater (sewage) system! This important piece of infrastructure is essential for Macoah to grow. Without it, we cannot build more homes.

Macoah was hooked into the power grid in 2009. Then, in 2013 we completed construction on a water treatment facility so that residents can drink clean water from our taps. The community sewage system is the final step in providing basic needs — power, water, sewer — to our community members. On top of that, in 2016 we are also getting high-speed internet thanks to the generosity of the Pathways to Technology program. Stay tuned for more details, and check out the pictures of our ground-breaking below!
